Design of Ford F-550
The F-550 has one configuration which gets you an eight-foot cargo bed and dual rear wheels. There are five levels of trim available which include the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum. There’s great equipment coming standard on the F-550 including manual telescoping trailer-tow mirrors, running boards, a limited-slip differential, 19.5-inch aluminum wheels a black grille and bumpers, roof clearance lights, air-conditioning, a locking tailgate, vinyl upholstery and floor coverings, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, two-speaker AM/FM radio, a 60/40-split folding rear bench seat and a 40/20/40-split front bench seat. Moving up the trim levels gets you many other things like: The XLT gives you heated mirrors, blind spot monitor, padded door armrests and much more. The Lariat comes with chrome running boards, body-color door handles, leather upholstery and much more. The two range-topping trims include many of the Lariat's optional items and bolster them with special design elements. Specifically, the King Ranch adds two-tone paint, a body-color grille with chrome insert, unique trim and color schemes, remote start, a navigation system, special leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front bucket seats with a fixed center console and driver memory settings. Many of the top tier amenities can also be had on lower levels as upgrades giving you the ability to really customize your truck choices.
